In a warehousing complex in the heart of Suffolk, a storage solutions company is taking a unique holistic approach to business. Anchor Storage, based near Debenham in Suffolk, believes that to keep their business running smoothly their staff need to be in full health. Managing Director, Stephen Britt, explains: “Here at Anchor Storage we like to take care of our staff, which is probably why we have such a low staff turnover. Our key staff are all given the opportunity to undertake holistic therapies every month, on site, for free in our specialist private treatment room. These treatments range from head massages and reflexology through to hypnotherapy.”
One of the most recent initiatives has been free hypnotherapy sessions for staff wishing to give up smoking, but there are many relaxing therapies on offer as well to allow our staff to choose what they need most. All of the treatments are provided by Holistic Therapy specialist Jo Metcalfe from Heritage Wellbeing Clinic in Bury St Edmunds. The alternative therapies are not the only reason that Anchor Storage is a holistic business – they are also specialists in the storage of organic produce.
Stephen continues: “As a business that deals with large amounts of organic produce we are officially certified by the Soil Association and have individual stores to ensure that the integrity of the products remains unaltered. We truly believe that our holistic approach to business and our organic capabilities will be vital in helping our business continue to grow in the future.”
