Howard Tenens, one of the UK’s largest privately-owned logistics companies is continuing to reinvest in its core fleet with the acquisition of five new Mercedes tractor units.
Howard Tenens’ Birstall operation has just taken receipt of the five brand new “Euro 6” standard tractor units as part of the companies ongoing commitments to reduce the average age of the fleet, provide staff with the finest equipment and introduce technologies and processes: improving fuel efficiency and safety for all stakeholders. The new vehicles are now the safest within the Howard Tenens fleet and boast such features as Active Brake Assist 4, driver airbags and JOST coupling sensed fifth wheels.

Howard Tenens has continued to invest in its fleet in recent years, with a number of dedicated gas vehicles that are currently in operation following a government backed trial for low emissions, highlighting the company’s sustained commitment to reducing their impact on carbon emissions.
