Following the success of their Proximity Warning Systems for Forklifts, manufacturer ZoneSafe has released a rechargeable version of their standard detection tag.

In addition to ZoneSafe’s existing pedestrian tags that have a lifespan of up to 3 years, rechargeable tags offer up to 10 years of usage, making rechargeable tags a very cost-effective solution for any work sites that use forklifts and other Material Handling vehicles.

The rechargeable tag has the ability to be charged using a wireless charger. The battery can be completely recharged within two hours and lasts up to 3 months between charges.

ZoneSafe Proximity Warning and Alert Systems reduce collision risks and help prevent accidents to people and assets within the Warehouse & Logistics Distribution sector.

ZoneSafe uses active radio frequency identification (RFID) technology to create detection zones around forklifts, assets, crossing points and walkways. ZoneSafe tags do not require line of sight and will be detected regardless of obstructions, blind spots or poor visibility.

As well as the rechargeable driver and pedestrian tag, ZoneSafe offers the VibraTag for drivers and pedestrians. The VibraTag provides short bursts of vibration to alert the wearer when a forklift is approaching, or if the pedestrian is too close to a vehicle. The VibraTag can also be completely recharged within two hours.
