Stoke based Aganto, one of the UK’s leading temporary building suppliers, have recently completed a second building project with Derby City FC.

In conjunction with Matthew Montague Architects, Derby FC came to Aganto after having previously worked with them to install a temporary building to house swimming lanes and a gym on the site of their training ground.

Project managed by Aganto’s John Hutchinson, the new temporary unit will be used for the groundsmen, housing machinery and also including an office area.

The 10m span x 20m long x 4.2m eave bespoke building has been manufactured in Anthracite grey to minimise the impact on the surrounding grounds and also in keeping with the gym building on the same site. John advised a single skin roof building with 3 roller shutter door units, and glass walling to one elevation where the office is to be located.

The temporary buildings Derby FC uses on its grounds are more than just ‘temporary,’ more they are semi-permanent, durable buildings installed fast and effectively within days to achieve an instant result to a long term problem.

John explains: “Working with Matthew and the Derby FC team previously, we were delighted when they came back to us with another temporary building requirement.

“The team already use the adapted building for their gym and swimming pool, and get that these buildings, although quick to put up, can be part of a ground or site for years to come- and easily add to it when space is at a premium.”
