Alongside its commitment to sharing the latest techniques and approaches in digital printing and technology with its customers, Antalis’ Digital Academy has partnered with motor-racing charity, Mission Motorsport, to engage a new audience in the opportunities presented through digital print.

Launched in 2012, Mission Motorsport aims to aid the recovery and rehabilitation of ex-servicemen and women affected by military operations by engagement through motorsport. As part of this, the charity provides a range of training courses and educational opportunities to suit the needs of individuals in order to help provide a fresh start on a new career path.

Cementing the start of this partnership, this summer saw James Cameron, founder of Mission Motorsport, give a talk at the Digital Academy breakfast seminar where he shared stories of the bravery of some of the ex-military personnel the charity works with. He also explained how digital print is playing a small part in their recovery and retraining.

Since then, three ex-servicemen who had been medically discharged from the Army following service in Afghanistan and Iraq, have attended the Digital Academy’s popular vehicle wrapping workshop free-of-charge as part of their Mission Motorsport rehabilitation programme.
