UKP is distributor of components for market leaders Froetek GmbH, Rema GmbH and BFS GmbH. The company also supplies plugs, sockets, take offs, connectors and associated parts, cable harnesses either as an industry standard or bespoke (flexible lead times).

An established world leader in the production of quick release charging leads, UKP’s products are available in a range of different types of termination for charging and refresh charging.

NEW PRODUCTS:

1. Since its preview at IMHX 2013 the PURERFLOW deionisation system has developed a solid and ever growing market.

The system produces 3,000 litres of deionised water based upon input water quality of 65ppm – yield varies according to the water hardness. The system is complete with all necessary components to connect to a Single Point Watering System or manual filling gun. A simple monitoring device indicates cartridge replacement by changing to red at 50ppm (accuracy of +/- 1ppm) – a simple two minute operation.

Currently available as a single or double cartridge system, a greater capacity unit will be introduced early 2017.

2. UKP have been selling the popular Kale Pressurised Watering Bottle and, as a result of customer feedback, have incorporated several improvements to their new UKPRESSTROLLEY. Using the same principal as the Kale, the UKPRESSTROLLEY has a 25% higher capacity and wheels have been incorporated to give greater mobility to the device which is contributing to its success.

The new products complement the company’s fast selling UKAQUAFILL Electric Watering Trolley which is sold as a complete unit with essential fittings required to fill batteries including a 35L capacity and a 12v17ah rechargeable battery fitted to give a continuous approximate four hour operation before recharging is necessary.

UnknownENERGY STORAGE:

UKP has used its expertise and design capabilities to develop BLACKCURRENT Emergency Power Supply System, a range of energy storage units designed to store power from the grid to give a minimum of two hours standby electricity. The switch over from mains to backup supply is seamless ensuring a minimum loss of function to maintain the smooth running of a range of equipment e.g. warehouse doors, elevators, communications, data, CCTV. Possible power shortages have been widely reported eg. Guardian http://www.theguardian.com/enviro nment/2016/jan/26/engineers-warnof- looming-uk-energy-gap
