Candidates must be able to demonstrate good communication and inter-personal skills, alongside a thorough understanding of the warehousing, handling and logistics industry, or considerable ‘hands-on’ career experience of the sector.
Highly computer literate, the successful candidate will be responsible for the company’s marketing activities, profitable sales performance and new business planning. Applicants must be able to prepare business contracts and meet face-to-face with customers, new business potentials and the company’s service providers in a confident and persuasive manner.
Reporting directly to the board, the position offers autonomy but with responsibility and performance driven measurement.
