Pall-Ex, the leading UK and European palletised freight distribution network, has strengthened its senior team by announcing the appointment of a new group operations director.
Mark Tapper makes the move to the Pall-Ex board from Palletline member CS Ellis, bringing with him more than 25 years’ experience. Initially the new director will be aiming to strengthen an already positive culture within the network, while developing relationships between Pall-Ex departments, depots, service-users and international partner networks.
Commenting on his new role, Mark said: “I am particularly keen to cement the processes and interaction shared by sales and operations, believing that sales intelligence should drive operational activity. Our focus will be on simple, open communication and engagement to deliver 100 per cent customer oriented approach across the company, a vision that our partners at home and abroad can buy into, in order to deliver continued success.”
