Jungheinrich will be highlighting the extensive customer benefits that its broad range of materials handling products and solutions offer the farming and agricultural community at LAMMA 2015.

chazAmong the products on display will be Jungheinrich’s recently launched range of IC-engine powered counterbalanced forklift trucks.

Available with a capacity of up to 3.5 tonnes and a lift height of 7.5 metres, the new models – the DFG/TFG 316-320 and DFG/TFG 425-435 ranges – are powered by Kubota engines, which are used in arduous applications around the world.

The diesel and LPG forklifts feature hydrodynamic drive – or ‘Torque Converter’ technology – to ensure robust operation in all applications. Indeed, Jungheinrich say, that, prior to their launch, the new models were extensively tested (for far longer than the accepted industry norm) at some of the most demanding sites around the world to ensure that they are capable of achieving optimum performance at a wide range of temperatures, as well as extremes of humidity and in the most rugged terrains.

Of course, with all materials handling equipment, after-sales care is essential and Jungheinrich’s Service Programme package offers tailor-made solutions to all customers to ensure the efficient maintenance of their trucks.

The after-sales support services on offer range from a straightforward preventative maintenance solution to a fully managed service contract, backed by Jungheinrich’s nationwide customer service teams, but service packages are always tailored to suit a client’s individual operational requirements.

To ensure the highest standards of customer care, Jungheinrich employs some 400 service engineers strategically located nationwide.

Jungheinrich will also use LAMMA to highlight its ISM Online package – an information system for truck management which allows truck users to manage their entire fleet more efficiently, regardless of its size or complexity.

Jungheinrich staff will also be on hand to discuss the company’s extensive short term hire fleet. Trucks from Jungheinrich’s entire range – from pallet handlers to state-of-the-art high lift reach trucks – are available on short term rental and models can usually be delivered within 24 hours – or often on the same day.

The company has over 4,000 vehicles available for short term hire and, importantly, the average age of the fleet is under two years old.

Neil Warren, Jungheinrich UK Ltd’s Used Equipment and Short Term Rental Director, comments: “We have what we believe is the youngest fleet of short term rental forklifts available. And, because our short term rental trucks are, on average, less than two years old, our clients in the farming and agricultural community get state-of-the-art equipment that not only looks good but is energy efficient and very reliable – not trucks that have been out on contract hire for five years and come with five years’ worth of problems!”

Jungheinrich also have a high profile in the event hire sector and its products – including a range of Manitou telehandlers – are used in the build up and break down of anything from rock concerts to major sporting occasions.

Jungheinrich will also focus on the benefits of its extensive range of ‘second life’ lift trucks. Used Jungheinrich trucks are refurbished to the highest standards at the Jungheinrich Group’s Dresden factory where every machine is completely dismantled and all worn or defective parts are replaced – including tyres and lift chains. The trucks are cleaned inside and out and repainted before being reassembled and safety tested.
