The undisputed market-leading manufacturer of industrial high speed roller doors, Union Industries, has completed its fourth installation at air cargo handling company Servisair.
The Leeds-based company, which designs, manufactures, installs and maintains its own range of fast acting doors, has continued its long standing relationship by installing a fourth Ramdoor at Servisair’s Manchester facility.
Established in 1952, Servisair has grown into a global handling company and operates at 175 airports worldwide.
The new door, which is 5.0m wide x 4.5m high, is used by forklift trucks to transport cargo in & out of the bonded warehouse. It has a fast operating speed, opening fully in a matter of seconds with automatic close as standard. It is efficient, reliable, very effective against heavy wind pressures, but most importantly provides secure exit and entry to the restricted warehouse.
The Ramdoor comes with free entry into Union’s Lifetime Warranty Scheme. This cover is provided as standard and includes a service visit from Union’s highly trained technicians each year. This played a major part in the decision by the Servisair team to go for a new Union door over the competition.
