Strapping equipment specialist Mosca has introduced two new machines into its Evolution range that enable customers to choose a different level of features according to their precise requirements.
The fully automated TR-6 can be specified in two versions: Base and Pro. The Base model is ideal for entry-level needs, while the Pro model serves as a high-end machine with a Human Machine Interface (HMI) and full network capability. This makes the machine ideal for the modern “4.0” era of industry where various pieces of equipment communicate directly with each other.
The new models meet the diversity of customer requirements as Timo Mosca, CEO of Mosca GmbH, explains: “The applications in which our machines are used vary from customer to customer. Not every operation requires a specialised high-performance machine, but equally, no business wants to miss out on top performance and quality. With the Base model, our customers are now able to choose a cost-efficient variation of the SoniXs TR-6, which still offers the same high performance mechanics as the Pro model.”
Both machines feature Mosca’s energy-saving ultrasonic technology, SoniXs, as well as the Standard-6 strap path, which is easily accessible and can be dismantled without the use of tools for easy maintenance. They are suitable for a wide variety of industries including wholesalers, printers, logistics, food and pharmaceutical. Both machines are particularly appropriate for areas with high product throughput and the need for constant machine availability.
The cost-efficient Base model features simple control via an MSCB-A control panel and keyboard whereas the TR-6 Pro uses a specialised B&R machine control and a HMI via a colour touch panel. This facilitates the Pro to offer a more comprehensive choice of options to pre-programme strapping processes and to adjust them automatically to meet differing needs. In addition, the SoniXs TR-6 Pro features a detailed error display that supports trouble shooting.
