Kieran Farmer – Bibby Distribution

Joining Bibby Distribution in July 2012 as an apprentice, Kieran Farmer is now 18 years old and one of the company’s youngest employees. Kieran’s main duties are assisting the traffic team, Paragon routing, customer liaison for site issues, and on-time reporting. During his time with the company, Kieran has already achieved several qualifications, including an Intermediate Level Apprenticeship in Business & Administration and Text Processing (Business Professional – Distinction Level 1). Working on Bibby Distribution’s contract with Kingspan in Pembridge, Herefordshire, Kieran is tasked with ensuring waiting times and delivery errors are at their lowest – requiring him to produce regular reports documenting any issues that have been encountered by drivers whilst making deliveries to the customer, including any reported Lost Time Accidents. Throughout his time with Bibby Distribution, Kieran has demonstrated exceptional commitment to the company and has shown impeccable operational acumen at a very young age.

Lily Arnold – PF Whitehead Logistics

Lily Arnold joined PF Whitehead as an apprentice in February 2011 at the age of 16. Since then she has developed a clear understanding of the logistics industry and has established herself as a key member of the office team, where her role combines customer service liaison for both the company’s warehouse and pallet distribution clients. Here strong people-skills soon secured the confidence of clients and, as her relationships with them grew, many began to go directly to Lily for all account issues, resulting in her taking on the role of daily account manager for many of PF Whitehead’s storage customers, for whom she now processes orders, liaises with warehouse staff, organizes outbound delivery and provides feedback where necessary. Lily recognizes her role within the company and takes her duties seriously. Working within a team of just five on the customer service desk, she often has to work beyond her core hours to ensure the job is done – which she does without complaint.
