MiX Telematics are launching their latest track and trace solution MiX DataTrak. MiX DataTrak is a new online, browser based asset tracking system allowing clients to access location data of their mobile assets from any internet ready device, anywhere, anytime.
The solution allows Fleet Managers to view their fleet’s exact locations 24/7, they are updated in real-time with event alerts such as ignition on, and they can get email alerts detailing vehicle movements and locations.
They can increase customer service levels by being able to use the ‘find’ function for specific locations or postcodes allowing the distribution of jobs to be smoother and quicker by bringing up the nearest 4 vehicles to that location.
They can track and locate a specific vehicle where this would provide the next 10 movement alerts for that vehicle should they need to track an expensive load for example.
With the ability to produce watch boxes (geo-fence) area’s they can track when vehicles enter and exit specific locations and restricted areas such as the London Congestion Zone.
All this information then feeds into the internet based reporting suite allowing them to view their entire standard and tailored reports, along with their vehicle movement reports 24/7 via any internet enabled PC, Laptop, Smartphone or Tablet.
