Today marks the official worldwide launch of the FilesThruTheAir™ cloud based data monitoring system. Designed to work with their revolutionary WiFi temperature and humidity data logging sensors, the FilesThruTheAir™ Cloud collects data from a virtually unlimited number of sensors in multiple locations and sends email alerts when alarms are breached.

Data is universally accessible from any internet enabled device, and the easy to use professional interface even allows settings to be reconfigured remotely. The FilesThruTheAir™ Cloud is suitable for all kinds of industrial, commercial or domestic applications, from monitoring IT server rooms to contents in storage, or the temperature of critical manufacturing processes to.

Users have the option of choosing from three different types of online account; Free (for up to two devices), Personal (for individuals or small businesses) and Professional which is ideal for organisations with multiple locations and users. The Professional account also has the added benefit of keeping an Audit trail. More details can be found at www.filesthrutheair.com.

The Cloud has received  excellent feedback, with users particularly impressed with the graphing capabilities and the ability to create different profiles giving each user certain administration and viewing rights. One customer who has already deployed a nationwide UK High Street convenience retailer with a FilesThruTheAir™ wireless temperature monitoring solution said “The entire estate of 500 stores is now managed via  FilesThruTheAir™ sensors and their Cloud. The remote monitoring solution allows central head office staff and area managers to monitor the real time network, pull-off temperature reports, set-up email alerts and more. It has removed the need for staff to perform the 4 hourly checks leaving them to focus on sales and customer assistance. It also means  head office can now see problematic fridges via historic failure reports”, Scott Barlow, Nordic Plus.

Moving forwards FilesThruTheAir™ is diversifying into additional areas of sensor data logging, for example light intensity sensors, and smart voltage / current probes, all of which will be compatible with PC or remote monitoring on the FilesThruTheAir™ Cloud. They are also currently developing the FilesThruTheAir™ Cloud Android App which is due to be released later in 2014.
