Such is the confidence of Toshiba TEC in the reliability of its B-EX4T premium range of industrial thermal printers that, for a limited time only, the leading manufacturer of IT solutions is offering a three-year RTB warranty as standard with purchases of any model in the series.

B-EX4T

Darren Holland, Sales Director, Auto-ID at Toshiba, comments:  “Since its launch in 2011, the B-EX4T1 label printer has become one of our best-selling products, offering all the benefits of a high-end printer at a fraction of the cost. Customers are attracted by its reliability and low cost of ownership and this latest promotion, which is on a first-come-first-served basis and expected to last for a couple of months, will only help to continue that trend.”

This high spec, low cost, industrial printer series is ideal for use in warehouse and production environments where heavy-duty printing is required. It features Z-Mode emulation, making it easy to integrate into existing legacy software systems without the need to invest in expensive upgrades. Users of legacy estates can, therefore, upgrade to a B-EX4T printer, replacing one or two machines at a time at their own pace or as budgets dictate.

Featuring advanced processor power, print speeds of up to 14ips and extremely low power consumption, the B-EX4T series is robust, easy to use and has a consistently high rate of productivity guaranteeing maximum return on investment.

Fitted with a long life print head and 600m ribbon as standard, which is up to 44% longer than competitive industrial printers, it uses less electricity, requires fewer stoppages for roll changes and needs less storage than competitive models, all of which result in lower operating costs. A simple, snap-in print-head and platen roller also help to reduce maintenance costs.

This is the first time that Toshiba has offered a complimentary three-year warranty with one of its products. The warranty equates to a saving for consumers of up to £140 on the RRP, depending on the model of printer purchased.

The B-EX4T series is supported by Toshiba’s award-winning Carbon Zero scheme, which offsets all the carbon generated in the manufacturing and shipping of its products and which, since 2009, has offset over 200,000 tonnes of CO2e – equivalent to 44 flights on the Space Shuttle, one third of all European air travel for a day, or the total annual carbon footprint of 39,607 European cars.
