The calibre, experience and expertise of the senior team at Torque has been highlighted by David Scott joining the Management Board of UKWA.

As the leading trade organisation representing the third party logistics sector, the UKWA’s key role is to protect the interests and represent the views of its member companies at local, national and international levels. UKWA is also committed to promoting best practice in the logistics industry as well as to support member companies in the development of their businesses.

David’s role will be to represent Categories D – F, those member companies with over 200,000 sq ft of warehousing. As a member of the Management Board he will be part of the decision making process that determines how UKWA is run on a day to day basis, developing strategies to ensure that the short and long term objectives are met and philosophy of the organisation is adhered to.

David comments: “I am very flattered to have been accepted to join the UKWA Board. Its importance to our industry is proven – providing members access to a wide range of professional services together with an influential lobbying mechanism, this is a great opportunity”.
