James Bedford & Co Ltd has successfully completed a prestigious contract which included supplying hundreds of workbenches for a new £12m manufacturing facility of a major UK company in the oil and gas industry.
Located in Birstall near Leeds, James Bedford celebrated 35 years of successful trading earlier this year and is now one of the UK’s leading suppliers of industrial equipment employing 35 people with a current turnover of £3m.
Over the years, the firm has become synonymous with its high quality workbenches, trolleys and cabinets. This reputation helped the company to successfully tender for the contract with leading oilfield service company Expro to supply workbenches along with lockers, cupboards and furniture for a ‘clean room’ in its new Subsea Excellence Centre in Ulverston, Cumbria.
