Employees from the company raised £42,000, which has been shared equally between the company’s three nominated charities: Macmillan Cancer Support, the British Heart Foundation and Transaid. To mark the occasion, Steve Fellows, HR Director, CEVA Logistics UK & Ireland presented the cheques to the charities.

On behalf of Macmillan Cancer Support, Rachel Herrick said: “I wish to thank everyone at CEVA for their very generous donation of £14,000. CEVA is a long-standing supporter of Macmillan and we are very grateful that despite the current climate they continue to fundraise for Macmillan.”

Chris Saunders, CEO, of international development charity Transaid said: “We really appreciate the efforts CEVA staff put into raising funds for us. Those of you who know of our work will understand the importance and impact of improving transport management across Africa. We’re currently working to improve professional driver training standards in Zambia and to increase access to healthcare for women and children in Northern Nigeria. This vital work could not continue without the support of companies like CEVA which will provide a real boost to our programme.”

Donna Stokes, British Heart Foundation said: “This is the third year that employees of CEVA Logistics have supported the British Heart Foundation and I am delighted with their continued support. The BHF is totally committed to preventing people’s lives being devastated by heart disease.”

Steve Fellows, HR Director, CEVA Logistics UK & Ireland, said: “We are really proud of our employees at CEVA for getting together and raising £42,000. We are confident that this will make a real difference and change the lives of many people in the UK and Africa.”
