Eleven of Europe’s leading distribution and logistics companies have joined forces to create a new heavyweight organisation they believe can better the penetration and reach claimed by the larger global specialist transportation companies.

Launched in May 2009, TENESO Europe SE (TEchnical NEtwork SOlution); will combine the resources, expertise and know-how of its partner companies to produce a fully integrated and superior logistics service the market has been waiting for.

Each of the eleven companies has each invested substantially into the new venture, which will operate as one legal entity supported centrally from TENESO’s head office in Karlsruhe, Germany.

“Individually we have all spent many years building up excellent reputations within our own countries,“ explained Managing Director, Tim Bloch. “Together, we can retain our local presence but tap into broader expertise within each country, working as a single European organisation. This stronger network enables us to provide a much more comprehensive service to our blue-chip clients who require technical 2-man logistics throughout Europe”.

With strong financial backing and depth of expertise from each of the shareholders, TENESO Europe SE has secured a fleet of over 700 fully equipped, two-man vehicles as well as 70 high-security storage centres at strategically placed points throughout the UK and Europe.

“Specialist transportation logistics requires a great deal of experience, skill and investment” said Tim Bloch. “In order to safely transport, deliver, install and store sensitive machinery such as medical equipment, office machines, ATMs and vending machines, you need a crew of highly trained personnel with the support of cutting edge technology. Because of the investment and support behind TENESO Europe SE, we can now provide the single resource our clients need with a fully integrated, superior service. This increased capacity allows us to transport even the most fragile and valuable of goods throughout Europe with great efficiency.” He added.
