intellitec-logo-colourSpeciality vehicle experts Intellitec MV are set to launch the latest version of their million selling automotive battery protection system in Dubai.

The Battery Guard 3K will be unveiled to the international market at the prestigious Automechanika Mid East Show being held at the Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

Developed to supersede the highly acclaimed Battery Guard 2K the new Battery Guard 3K is fully programmable, always guarantees starting power, can be used as a split charging system, has data logging capabilities and is designed to work in tandem with the CANBUS system.

Paul Smith, Intellitec MV Technical and Engineering Director, said “In recent years vehicle manufacturers have introduced ever more complex electrical systems which are susceptible to damage from a sudden loss of battery power.

“In response we have developed a programmable battery isolator which is able to communicate with the vehicles own CANBUS technology to warn of imminent electrical shutdown preventing damage to expensive vehicle components.”

He added: “We have also engineered the system to log data to allow fleet managers to record how many low voltage disconnections have occurred on each of their vehicles.”

bg3k-logo-2Duncan Hughes, Intellitec MV Sales and Marketing Director, said: “As Dubai is at the heart of one of the fastest growing automotive markets in the world Automechanika was our first choice for the International launch of Battery Guard 3K.

“We look forward to offering a flexible programmable power management solution to both operators and bodybuilders across the Middle East and Africa.”
