hrh.jpgTraka plc recently scooped its second Queen’s Award for Enterprise and, last month, the company welcomed HRH The Duke of Kent to its headquarters in Olney, Buckinghamshire. The Royal visitor met company personnel and showed great interest in demonstrations of Traka’s range of intelligent access systems, particularly some special products being developed for use throughout the world. HRH The Duke of Kent incorporated the visit to Traka into his tour of North Buckinghamshire and was accompanied by the Mayors of Milton Keynes and Olney.

Managing Director John Kent said, “We are delighted and honoured to receive such a visit. We are very proud to be contributing to British industry and are delighted that our significant achievement in international trade has been recognised.”

The Royal visit came only five weeks after Traka was presented with its latest Queen’s Award for International Trade to mark the company’s impressive overseas achievements. In fact, 50% of Traka’s turnover is attributable to its thriving export business, which is based on sales to more than 26 countries around the world.
