This year, Her Majesty the Queen became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee following 70 years of service.
As companies and communities across the UK celebrated with Platinum Jubilee events and initiatives to mark Her Majesty’s unprecedented anniversary, Storopack held its very own celebration.
Jubilee festivities took place from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th June over an extended bank holiday weekend across the nation.
To commemorate this historic anniversary, the Storopack team gathered together and took part in a Jubilee celebration event in their conference room at Brackley. There was a great team spirit with special jubilee cakes, party food and a get to know the Queen Elizabeth II quiz.
Richard Pulfrey, Managing Director commented, “This was a delightful celebration for the team at Storopack Brackley and an opportunity to say thank you to the team for all their hard work over the last two years. Like many companies we saw an increase in demand during the global pandemic which drove sales online. The business was boosted significantly as Storopack is heavily aligned with e-commerce and consequently saw a great influx of protective packaging orders. We celebrated with a special party lunch, decorated the conference room, and we were lucky to have had one of our French colleagues visiting us who has met the queen and could talk about the woman behind the crown.”
Storopack are also very proud to have been involved with the Queen’s Green Canopy initiative earlier in 2022. The team planted several trees in the grounds at Storopack Sheffield and received the official Queen’s Green Canopy virtual plaque.
