Multimodal 2022 will celebrate fifteen years of putting shippers, retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers, importers, and exporters in front of exhibitors who offer the latest logistics and supply chain solutions.
The three-day show between 14th and 16th June 2022 at the Birmingham NEC, will offer a unique opportunity to make valuable face-to-face contact with new prospects and existing companies.
Shippers and cargo owners at the free-to-attend show improve their businesses by finding ways of moving their products more efficiently and by meeting new suppliers.
“We have experienced tremendous support from the industry at large as the uptake of stands and delegate registrations are very strong,” said Robert Jervis, Director, Multimodal.
“We all know there are significant challenges facing our industry right now and Multimodal is the perfect setting for delegates to convene, enter the debate, forge new relationships, and celebrate the terrific job the UK transport and logistics industry does.”
The Multimodal exhibition will include hundreds of companies showcasing the latest innovations in supply chain, including DP World, A.P. Moller – Maersk, Dachser, Kuehne + Nagel, and Ocean Network Express, as well as Malcolm Logistics, Maritime Transport and MSC.
This year’s seminar series will focus on supply chain sustainability and resilience, looking at ways to harness the power of people, tech, and innovation to future proof logistics.
The sessions will look at how the industry can embrace change, boost sustainable credentials, and remain resilient.
Multimodal has teamed up with the Institute of Export and International Trade (IOE&IT), which will be presenting two days of training giving practical advice and guidance on best practice for international trade to and from the UK.
Delegates taking part in the seminars will qualify for IOE&IT Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.
On day three, Multimodal has invited education charity Career Colleges Trust (CCT) to help build a talent pipeline of future logistics leaders and close the skills gap in the supply chain industry.
Multimodal is also working with the Rail Freight Group, The Chartered Institute of Transport and Logistics (CILT), the British International Freight Association (BIFA), and Logistics UK to deliver content and insight at the seminars.
This year the event app will once again feature a match-making service to connect shippers to each other and to our exhibitors, ensuring visitors and stand holders make the most out of their time at the show.
Multimodal also hosts two networking events, the Multimodal Awards on the 14th of June at the Vox Birmingham, and the Multimodal Mixer on the 15th, a chance to mingle in a more relaxed atmosphere.
Last year Multimodal was attended by over 7000 delegates, with a record-breaking 840 guests taking part in the Multimodal Awards event.
This year, bookings and registrations suggest thousands more will attend the exhibition while tables for the awards are all but sold out.
Voting has opened for the Multimodal Awards Modal Categories as of 12th April.
