Recently Rack Armour launched an innovative end of aisle barrier range which has revolutionised the way we protect pallet racking. The demand for the product has been so overwhelming from new and existing customers that we decided to expand its range further to accommodate other areas of busy warehouses.

As protection specialists, we have known the benefits to using HDPE plastic as a defence against large impacts for a long time. The ballistics grade polymer provides a flexible element to the product, making the barriers the perfect defence against Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
The new barriers are a move away from the generic pallet racking protection variants that Rack Armour are known for, they’re a transition towards pedestrian safety and segregation, a bold move considering we have been the UK’s leading pallet racking safety specialists for the past 40 years.
The development was made as we feel our core range of barriers has been a breath of fresh air in the market place, offering a new brand of barriers which are a superior and cost effective comparison to the existing products in the market today.
As with all our products the new barriers were adapted and tested at existing customer’s sites. We always feel this is the best way to not only find out what the end user wants from the product, but also if the product holds up in some of the busiest warehouses in the UK. After months of trialling numerous designs and model types the final products were given the all clear by our customers and our R+D Department. The new barriers are made with the exact same components as our already popular end of aisle range, meaning they are extremely tough, durable and maintenance free.
Our whole barrier range has now evolved into 3 main categories Bumper Barriers, End of Aisle Barrier and Pedestrian Barriers.
The End of Aisle range is very much aimed at those who operate in and around pallet racking. The perfect product to stop MHE from damaging the pallet racking and the precious stock it may be carrying. Coming in a wide variety of sizes and shapes to accommodate any racking requirement, these barriers are the perfect way to protect your racking.
Our Bumper Barriers consist of three generic designs for bespoke protection and safety. Each of these barriers are available at any length and in varying heights giving you a bespoke product for any application. We recommend these barriers for the protection of buildings, MHE segregating, picking areas and many more.
The Pedestrian Barriers offer a customisable and effective way to segregate your staff/visitors from MHE and other dangers. Standing at 1.15 metres tall the pedestrian barriers offer first and foremost a visual indicator to MHE and pedestrians of their safe operating limits. As with all our barriers the bespoke element allows the user to add or take away elements such as bumpers or gates to create a product which suits their needs and requirements perfectly.
