Service offers unrivalled engineering support through the UK’s biggest field services network

International logistics firm ByBox Field Support Limited has overhauled its engineering offering, unifying and streamlining its technical capabilities under the Tech Services name. This is part of the continued incorporation of echo into the ByBox Group, a technical and logistical support company acquired in 2013. This move complements the previous acquisitions in this field – PPR Solutions and Newcotech – and cements ByBox Field Support Limited as the leading provider of technical services in its field.

ByBox Tech Services provides its clients with access to the Group’s 450 skilled engineers, on a completely variable cost basis, allowing them to react to the demands of their customers quickly, economically, and through a streamlined supply chain. It also provides a holistic engineering platform, supporting numerous sectors and variable scale deployments, in addition to matching the level of job with the skill of the engineer.

By using Tech Services, outsourced engineers also have access to a network of over 2,500 lockers, Manned Handover Sites and Forward Stock Locations. This allows it to operate a 24/7, 365 days a year model – the first service to market that truly offers an around-the-clock service.

Commenting on the development, ByBox’s MD, Mark Garritt, said:

New Picture“Technology is becoming cheaper and service levels ever more demanding, which in turn drives up the cost base for our customers. Our all-encompassing multi-user technical field force is a significant contribution to reducing our customers’ costs whilst improving service levels to their clients. We are proud to say we are the only UK company which has the scale and capability combined to create a smart logistics platform able to meet the demands of the market for the foreseeable future.”

The echo brand will be phased out in a transition period.
