Collision Sentry®, designed to create a safer working environment in warehouses where forklift traffic and pedestrian traffic intersect, is the new safety product promoted by SESS Ltd. Like a traffic light, Collision Sentry provides a visual warning to drivers and pedestrians that traffic is around the corner. Collision Sentry is easy to install, self-powered, compact, highly visible and reliable.
Every day in thousands of warehouse environments, pedestrians and forklifts manoeuver through buildings covering the same territory and often navigating the same path. When those paths cross, the result can be damaging – not only to the equipment and facility – but more importantly – to people.
Collision Sentry® can help reduce or eliminate “blind corner” collisions by providing a visual warning that alerts forklift drivers and pedestrians of approaching traffic. Collision Sentry® uses infrared motion detectors to “see” around corners. When motion is detected on BOTH sides of the corner – meaning a collision is possible – LED warning lights signal in both directions that there is traffic around the corner.
Anyone working in a fast moving warehouse environment will understand Collision Sentry®. If there is a blind corner where it is impossible to see traffic, Collision Sentry® sees it for you. This device is designed to be installed quickly and work instantly, especially in warehouses with pallet rack systems and can be placed at any location where needed. Because this is a battery-driven device it can be mounted anywhere without the necessity of an electrical source.”
Each unit is easy to install, self-powered, portable, compact, and lightweight and can be deployed immediately. Collision Sentry snaps on to pallet racks quickly using integrated magnet mounts. Motion Sensors are programmed to detect movement on both sides of the corner, sending a warning in ample time for corrective action. Highly visible LED lights on the Collision Sentry flash when collision is imminent. Collision Sentry is pre-set and ready to use.
