Mosca Direct has underlined its commitment to unrivalled customer service by becoming the first UK strapping machinery supplier to invest in Protean parts and engineering management system.
It has enabled the company – the wholly owned UK subsidiary of machinery manufacturer Mosca – to implement an integrated machinery database suitable for use by both service and sales departments.
Protean allows Mosca Direct to fully automate the engineers service sheet process, track every action and identify the most commonly used parts by customer, engineer and machine serial number – ensuring replacements are immediately available when needed.

Protean incorporates a full stock system including an optimum stock level calculator and automated parts replenishment facility. It also allows for full serial number tracking speeding up warranty control.
Protean allows spare parts to be set up with suitable alternatives, allowing users to easily identify any possible solutions to an ‘out of stock’ problem.
