Element Logic and Ranpak Holdings Corp. (NYSE: PACK) have entered a strategic global partnership focused on integrating Ranpak’s sustainable end-of-line packaging automation into Element Logic’s warehouse solutions.

The partnership strengthens Element Logic’s ability to deliver end-to-end warehouse automation solutions that help customers improve packing efficiency, reduce packaging material and shipped volume, and respond to packaging requirements that are being phased in under the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).

As customer expectations, sustainability requirements and operational complexity continue to increase, warehouse operators are seeking more integrated automation solutions across the entire fulfilment process. By combining Element Logic’s expertise in warehouse automation, software and system integration with Ranpak’s specialist capabilities in rightsizing, box forming, closing, computer vision and paper-based product protection, the two companies can deliver a more connected and efficient outbound logistics flow.

The partnership builds on existing collaboration between the companies and enables Element Logic to incorporate Ranpak’s packaging automation technologies as part of broader warehouse automation projects. Rather than treating packaging as a standalone process, customers can benefit from solutions where picking, packing and shipping are designed as part of one integrated operation.

Ranpak’s end-of-line automation replaces manual box-building with machines that automatically select, erect and right-size each box around the order. Combined with Element Logic’s system design, software and automation expertise, these technologies can help customers reduce packaging waste, optimise transport efficiency and increase throughput and consistency in warehouse operations.

The partnership reflects Element Logic’s ambition to continuously expand its solution portfolio and support customers across the entire warehouse value chain, from inbound logistics and storage to order fulfilment, packaging and final shipment.
