North Somerset fulfilment specialist Allegro is expanding its warehouse capacity across Clevedon and Portishead, marking the next phase of growth and continued investment on e-commerce fulfilment.

The expansion includes the addition of a further warehouse at Allegro’s established Clevedon operation, alongside the recent addition of a new warehouse in Portishead. Together, the new sites will give the business greater capacity to support existing customers and welcome larger e-commerce brands from across the UK.
The additional Clevedon facility will become operational from 1st November 2026, while the newly acquired Portishead warehouse will be operational from 5th October 2026. Together, the new sites add 25,000 sq ft of warehouse space.
The investment follows Allegro’s recent brand refresh and further strengthens its presence in North Somerset, while creating the additional capacity needed to support its ambitious growth plans with e-commerce fulfilment a key focus for the business over the coming years.
Marcus Gater, Managing Director at Allegro, said: “North Somerset has always been an important part of Allegro and we’re really proud to be continuing to invest and grow here.
“Expanding our operation in Clevedon and into Portishead is a big milestone for us. It gives us the capacity to welcome more e-commerce businesses into Allegro, while continuing to give our existing customers the space and support they need to grow too.
“We have ambitious plans for the next few years and having the right space, team and technology in place means we’re ready for that next stage.”
Based in North Somerset, Allegro provides e-commerce fulfilment, shipping solutions and tailored logistics services to businesses across the UK.
The business manages the complete e-commerce fulfilment journey, from stock arriving at its warehouses through to pick and pack, dispatch and returns, supported by technology that connects directly with customers’ e-commerce platforms.
