ALICE, the Alliance for Logistics Innovation through Collaboration in Europe, has appointed Andrea Condotta, ALICE Vice-Chair and Public Affairs, Sustainability & Innovation Director at Gruber Logistics, as Chair for the remaining period of the current Board mandate, until June 2027.

Recognised by the European Commission as the European Technology Platform for logistics, ALICE plays an important role in enhancing innovation in freight transport, logistics and supply chains in Europe. ALICE brings together over 220 companies, research centres, public authorities and other stakeholders to define common research and innovation priorities, support collaborative projects, and accelerate the deployment of solutions for zero-emission, automated, efficient and resilient logistics.

Andrea Condotta succeeds François-Régis Le Tourneau, outgoing Chair of ALICE and former Vice President, Corporate Responsibility “L’Oréal for the Future” programme, who has decided to withdraw from the role. The appointment was endorsed by ALICE members during the General Assembly on 24 August 2026 and ensures continuity in the ALICE’s work at an important moment for European logistics research and innovation.
