Courier Logistics is strengthening compliance and improving operational efficiency by expanding its use of AssetGo’s fleet management platform.

A multi-modal transport and logistics provider and shareholder member of APC and Pallet-Track networks, the company delivers parcel and pallet distribution, storage, same-day and dedicated deliveries, international, contract logistics and general haulage.

Since adopting AssetGo in 2024, Courier Logistics has extended its use from HGVs to vans and on-site machinery. The platform supports daily walkaround checks, defect reporting, tyre inspections, compliance tracking, and incident and accident reporting.

At the same time, the fleet has grown from around 60 vehicles and trailers to more than 100, with AssetGo replacing manual maintenance planning based on paper records and spreadsheets. Maintenance schedules are now centralised, easier to track and more reliable across departments.

“AssetGo has played a key role in supporting our growth and giving us a system that adapts to our changing needs,” says Jana Rizenkova, Operational Excellence and Compliance Lead at Courier Logistics. “Before, maintenance planning was highly manual and time-consuming, and it was difficult to manage such a wide variety of fleet assets. Now everything is centralised, far more reliable and much easier to track.”

The system has also improved incident reporting, allowing drivers to submit reports in real time with photos and structured information. Incidents are recorded against driver profiles, improving visibility, accountability and targeted management.

Also, says Courier Logistics, driver checks and compliance processes have been significantly enhanced, while digital submissions are reviewed centrally, enabling defects to be categorised and actioned quickly. Meanwhile, bespoke walkaround checks include mandatory photo uploads, defect descriptions and prompts for load security and cleanliness, while weekly tyre inspections and integrated licence checks support ongoing compliance.

“The level of detail we now receive from daily checks is a huge improvement,” adds Jana. “Drivers are more consistent and thorough, and that allows our maintenance team to diagnose and resolve issues much faster.”

Previously reliant on manual processes, Courier Logistics now benefits from AssetGo’s flexible digital system, reducing paperwork, improving data accuracy and enabling faster responses.

“From a workshop perspective, the platform has introduced greater structure and oversight, including clearer defect management, improved tyre tracking, better coordination of maintenance bookings, accessible digital records and enhanced cost monitoring for repairs, defects and vehicle accidents. This,” says Jana Rizenkova, “has enabled a more proactive approach to fleet maintenance, reducing downtime and helping keep vehicles in optimal condition.

“From the start, the onboarding was smooth and well supported, and that has continued with the ongoing service,” she adds. “Health and safety and compliance are critical for us as a transport business, and AssetGo plays a key role in supporting that. It helps us operate to maintain a higher standard, improves efficiency across the board, and ultimately supports the level of service we provide to our customers.”
