Hörmann UK’s new V 5025 Z flexible high-speed door has been designed to keep operations moving, combining rapid operation with a damage-resistant design that reduces disruption and repair costs. At the heart of the V 5025 Z is innovative zip technology. In the event of a collision, the door curtain pulls away from the side rails to prevent damage, before automatically re-feeding into the guide to restore normal operation – helping to significantly reduce downtime compared to conventional door systems. The V 5025 Z features a robust construction, making it suitable for both internal and external applications.

BID Group delivered a highly specialised solution for a client in Manchester, addressing complex airflow and safety challenges with a bespoke Klimate High Speed Door. The door curtain features a unique design where approximately 30% of the surface area is dedicated to ventilation. This mesh section allows air to circulate efficiently between zones even when the door is fully closed, ensuring constant air quality without sacrificing the benefits of a high-speed barrier.
