Crown, one of the world’s largest material handling solutions companies, has received the iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 in the Product Design category for its WJ 50 Series. The prestigious award will be presented as part of a ceremony in Berlin on 27 April.
In a multi-stage evaluation process, the WJ 50 Series pedestrian pallet truck was assessed for its concept, form, function, innovation and sustainability, among other factors. Crown’s WJ 50 Series, equipped with a V-Force 48 V lithium-ion battery, stood out for its energy efficiency and durable, user-focused design. This places Crown within the top entries among more than 10,000 submissions from 68 countries. According to the award organisers, the iF DESIGN AWARD is regarded as a global seal of quality for design excellence and is one of the world’s largest design competitions. Crown previously received the coveted award for its WP 3010 Series electric pallet truck, WAV 60 Series order picker, RT 4000 Series rider pallet truck, and QuickPick Remote order picking technology.
Crown’s WJ 50 Series won the iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 in the Industry/Tools/Machinery category of the Product Design category.
