Conagri’s Hulk division becomes south-west dealer for CESAB materials handling.
An optimum blend of Italian design and Japanese engineering now features in the new materials handling division (Hulk) of construction and agricultural equipment supplier Conagri, with the addition of the CESAB brand.
The CESAB portfolio, which is manufactured for the UK in Italy, France and Sweden, and delivered solely through dealers such as Conagri’s Hulk division in the south-west, covers the full range of materials handling applications, including loading and unloading, receipt and dispatch, and horizontal transport and stacking.
Founded more than 80 years ago and now part of the Toyota family, CESAB believes the mast is key to safe and productive materials handling and therefore uses pioneering IMD (Intelligent Mast Design) to deliver industry-leading levels of visibility and performance through 3D computer modelling and finite element model analysis with computerised simulation.
This IMD delivers forklifts with high strength and rigidity, low energy use and maintenance, superior forward visibility, smooth operation, and optimum productivity and durability.
CESAB’s IC counterbalanced range comprises six four-wheeled torque-converter and hydrostatic trucks ranging in capacity from 1.5 to 3.5 tonnes, all of which have lifting heights of up to 6,600mm and can run on diesel or LPG.
Electric counterbalanced trucks total eight – three three-wheeled (1-2 tonnes), four four-wheeled (1.6-5 tonnes) and one heavy-duty model (6-8 tonnes), all with lifting heights of up to 7,000mm.
CESAB’s warehousing equipment range comprises eight hand and powered pallet trucks of between 1 and 2.5 tonnes, three reach trucks of between 1.2 and 2.5 tonnes (which are also available in drive-in and cold store versions), and 15 powered stacker trucks of between 1.2 and 2 tonnes and lifting heights of up to 6,000mm. This range also includes five low-level order pickers ranging from 1.2 to 1.8 tonnes and with a lifting height of up to 4,150mm.
CESAB’s towing solutions are also comprehensive, with a total of nine electric tow tractors. Two three-wheeled models deliver up to four tonnes of towing power, with the outdoor version having the option of a closed cab. Seven four-wheeled versions deliver up to a massive 50 tonnes of pulling power, and then there are two platform trucks delivering up to 10 tonnes of pulling power and up to two 2 tonnes of load capacity.
CESAB dealers like Conagri provide a personalised, local service tailored to the specific needs of their customer’s business. This combination of local dealerships and the support of an internationally-recognised manufacturer mirrors Conagri’s own mantra of Global Reach, Local Expertise.
