Kevin Buchanan, Group CEO of Leicestershire-based palletised freight distribution network Pall-Ex, has been formally recognised as a Deputy Lieutenant for Leicestershire.
Kevin was commissioned during 2025 by the Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire, Mike Kapur OBE CStJ, in honour of his exceptional service to the local community. This commission was formally recognised, alongside four other new Deputy Lieutenants, at a ceremony at County Hall in February. Under his leadership, Pall-Ex became the first pallet network in the UK to receive the Ministry of Defence’s Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award, the highest level of honour for employers demonstrating outstanding support for the Armed Forces community.
