In the material handling and intralogistics sector, the evolution of warehouse vehicles is increasingly driven by electric powertrain solutions that combine high performance, precision, and energy efficiency. Bonfiglioli continues to expand its offering in this field with advanced driveline technologies designed to meet the demands of modern warehousing applications, where reliability and manoeuvrability are critical factors.

A key solution is represented by steerable drives for pallet trucks, stackers, reach trucks and other types of warehouse machinery requiring excellent manoeuvrability in tight spaces. Drives like those in the EL Series offer the smallest operating radius in vertical arrangements, along with very high efficiency with minimum noise. They are available with a torque range from 450 to 2,500 Nm and a maximum wheel load from 1,200 to 4,000 kg. They integrate a low-voltage electric motor and a parking brake and are available both in the manual steering and in the power steering version.

Alongside the EL Series, Bonfiglioli supplies high-efficiency, low-noise planetary axles and drives with integrated high-performance electric motors and low-maintenance braking systems for Class 1 material handling vehicles.

The electric drive axles for forklifts play a central role in the company’s portfolio for material handling. Developed for traction systems, the 600F Series can be applied to 3- and 4-wheel counterbalanced lift trucks as well as ground support equipment.

Available with an axle torque from 3,000 to 50,000 Nm, it also boasts a lift capacity from 2,000 to 16,000 kg. One of the key benefits of this series is its ability to reduce overall energy consumption, resulting in longer battery operating times, extended service intervals, and a lower total cost of ownership. These advantages are increasingly important for both OEMs and end users, who are seeking solutions that improve productivity while reducing operating costs.
