An enhanced version of a novel motorised drive roller (MDR) powered system will take centre stage on the stand of Itoh Denki, a leading international specialist in material handling technologies, at the LogiMAT 2026 show from 24th-26th March 2026 (stand 1K25 in Hall 1) and SITL 2026 at Paris Villepinte, 31st March – 2nd April (stand J086).

FNR, an MDR-powered conveyor platform which safely and efficiently transfers light loads of all shapes and sizes via a patented bed system comprising robust plastic wheels, is now equipped with 90-degree flat transfer.
This attribute is believed to be unique among systems of this kind and is set to drive further demand for FNR which is already proving its value across a broad spectrum of warehouse and factory applications.
It is already becoming the first choice for applications where previously only belt conveyors were thought to be suitable, due to its ability to convey all types of small items, including soft bags or irregularly-shaped products, and is suitable for applications such as item singulation or accumulation. These tasks can be undertaken in short distances due to FNR’s short, independently controlled zones, cutting overall system footprint.
FNR requires minimal set-up and ongoing maintenance, and, due to its modular nature, can be rapidly reconfigured as operational needs evolve.
With near-silent operation and enhanced colleague safety, FNR can be easily integrated into existing in situ systems.
Also on display will be a novel range of diverter units again suited to a vast range of tasks.
Patented rotating ball transfer technology enables Itoh Denki’s Multi-Angle Ball Sorter (MABS) to divert items to exits at 30°, 45° or 90° angles on both sides. MABS can be incorporated into any type of conveyor system, with a maximum capacity of up to 4,300 units per hour, or up to 30kg each.
MABS comes in five sizes and again can be rapidly reconfigured, with up to eight units able to be combined to create larger transfer zones.
MABS will be on show in combination with the F-RAT NX compact 90° diverter and sorter module for loads up to 50kg, and M-RAT module for loads weighing up to 250kg.
F-RAT NX and M-RAT can transfer products at 90° on either side with no need to lift the product between entry and exit.
