Conagri’s Incredible Hulk is set to make its mark on material handling.
Construction and agricultural equipment supplier Conagri has launched a new material handling division to provide professional, customer-focused material handling solutions that help businesses operate safely, efficiently and profitably.
Headed up by two industry heavyweights, the new Hulk MHE (Material Handling Equipment) division already has four industry-leading manufacturers under its belt.
Conagri’s Hulk material handling division is UK distributor for brands including Hako cleaning machines for commercial, industrial and municipal environments, and Hoppecke, Europe’s largest privately-owned manufacturer of industrial batteries.
Its portfolio also includes Cesab forklifts, counterbalanced trucks, warehouse equipment and tow tractor solutions, and Noblelift, the world’s largest manufacturer of hand pallet trucks and a heavy trucks range of up to 50 tonnes.
Aiden Edwards, the new head of sales for Conagri’s Hulk material handling division, said: “Many companies want to cut their costs by reducing overheads but still maintain the best quality of service and productivity through trusted long-term suppliers who provide stable and consistent service. Our brands represent the best quality, price, productivity, safety and innovations, with equipment to fit all budgets and applications.”
Aiden has 25 years’ experience in the forklift industry, working for Toyota, Briggs Equipment and Jofson’s, and using the skills and knowledge attained from a Masters in Business Administration degree, rose to a head of sales position before joining Hulk MHE.
Aiden is joined at Hulk by Barry Gates who has 24 years’ experience in material handling, in senior leadership roles that demonstrated expertise in sales strategy, client acquisition and team development.
His role as Hulk’s business development manager will be to develop tailored solutions for forklifts, conveyors, automation and warehouse equipment, and to collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
He will also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and building long-term relationships with key industrial clients to drive growth in this new division through strategic sales and market expansion.
Conagri director Andrew Venton said: “Our new Hulk division will enable us to concentrate on the material handling sector which is bucking the trend and going from strength to strength, focusing as it does on providing contractor and companies with cost-effective logistical solutions.”
