Intralogistics leader Linde Material Handling UK – which is headquartered in Basingstoke – has appointed long-standing employee Gill Brennand as its new Sustainability Manager to support its ongoing commitment to reducing its environmental impact.

Gill, who will take up the role in January 2026, has been with the business for more than 26 years, starting in export order processing and later moving up to manage the Central Order Desk.
In her new role, Gill will lead the development and implementation of strategies to reduce carbon emissions, improve waste management, promote sustainable sourcing and ensure sustainability is embedded into daily operations across the organisation.
“I’ve been part of Linde Material Handling – and the logistics sector – for almost three decades, giving me a front-row seat as sustainability has risen to the top of the industry agenda,” said Gill.
“I’m proud to be part of a company that takes its responsibilities seriously, and I look forward to building on the hard work already done while leading the next phase of our sustainability journey.”
