AutoStore’s raft of new products added to the portfolio for 2026 aim to help warehouse and logistics professionals move greater volumes through smaller spaces, with fewer people, to tighter deadlines, and at all times delivering customer service excellence.

Headlined by AutoCase, which automates the movement of full cases in and out of storage, the portfolio also introduces FlexBins, enabling multiple bin sizes to be accommodated in a single Grid. FlexBins expand SKU range, increase density and support consolidation and buffering.

Meanwhile, the new Frozen-Only Grid offers a dedicated solution for frozen grocery and healthcare customers.

AutoCase: Streamlined Processes

AutoCase automates the loading and unloading of full cases, making it possible to move cases into storage and pick individual items until the case is empty.

It is a simple but powerful – and much needed – end-to-end control capability for high-volume warehouses. You can now streamline inbound, storage, picking and packing – processing 150 to 260 cases by hour – without the time-sapping complexity of traditional systems.

AutoCase is a great unifier. By combining case handling and piece picking in one flow, you no longer need to split SKUs, and you also don’t need to deploy separate technology systems such as shuttles, mini-loads or racking. By reducing vendor complexity, integration time and operational risk, you enable faster deployments and a lower total cost of ownership.

Whether it’s decanting, case consolidation or store replenishment, AutoCase has the flexibility and reliability to deliver accuracy, at speed. The clamp-and-push design with movable Bin bottom minimises friction, reduces jams and misalignments, and ensures higher system uptime — even with unstable loads. Meanwhile, Bin-based tracking eliminates barcode-related errors and manual exception handling, supporting a broader SKU range.

FlexBins: All Operations in One Place

AutoStore offers three distinct bin sizes – small, medium and large – to suit varying customer requirements and SKU inventory: FlexBins allow you to store all three bin sizes within a single Grid system, without the need for add-ons.

Consider the benefits in having all your operations in one place. Fulfilment is more than just picking, packing, and shipping; it also includes staging, buffering, handling returns, and sometimes complex kitting and mixed-case processing. FlexBins enables you to manage all of these tasks directly from the Grid.

FlexBins meet multiple needs in multiple sectors. Examples include order consolidation and buffering in Grocery, kit assembly and just-in-time fulfilment within Healthcare, mixing shoes and apparel in the same Grid in Fashion, kit assembly and just-in-time assembly in the Automotive parts industry.

Consider a light assembly operation where a single operator works from one system, while robots deliver complete kits of parts — ranging from small to large — directly to the AutoStore workstation. This eliminates the need for extra conveyors, forklifts, tugs, or additional staff to complete orders, making the kitting process quicker and more efficient.

Combining the 220mm, 330mm and 425mm Bins into a single grid brings more benefits than accelerated operations – it’s a space saver, maximising warehouse capacity without increasing footprint.

More Multi-Temperature Options

AutoStore offers two advanced solutions for temperature-controlled storage, each tailored to suit appropriate operational needs. Both deliver the dual core benefits of enhanced warehouse efficiency and safety for workers in cold storage environments. The new Frozen-Only Grid is designed for dedicated frozen-only settings, operating efficiently at -25°C and bringing the same reliability of AutoStore’s existing Multi-Temperature Solution into one of the most complex – and expensive – warehouse environments.

Automated Picking Enhancements

CarouselAI, AutoStore’s automated robotic picking workstation launched in Spring 2025, now offers more options for users. Improved Bin placements enable faster retrieval, while outbound routing options are now added, and handling of lighter items is now supported.
