What are your best-known products/solutions/services?
TGW Logistics helps businesses around the world make their warehouse operations faster, smarter and more efficient. The company designs and builds automated systems that keep goods moving – from high-performance conveyors and sorters to flexible storage and retrieval technologies.
At the heart of TGW’s approach are innovative robotic and picking solutions, including the PickCenter series, robot and AMR technologies, which combine precision and ergonomics to deliver reliable fulfilment performance. Everything is seamlessly connected through the TGW Software Suite, providing businesses with complete visibility and control of their operations.
And the support doesn’t end once a system goes live. With TGW’s dedicated Lifetime Services team, customers benefit from continuous support, maintenance and optimisation – ensuring long-term success in a world where efficiency and adaptability matter most.
How do you think your industry sector is performing at the moment?
Demand for automated warehouse solutions continues to grow across North-West Europe. TGW is ideally positioned to support this expansion, partnering with companies at every stage, from consulting and design, through implementation to ongoing Lifetime Services. We are ready to help our clients realise their ambitions for the future and optimise their operations long-term success.
How many markets are you in and what is your biggest market?
Our clients operate across a diverse range of industries, including Fashion, Grocery, Industrial & Consumer Goods, and Healthcare. Each sector faces its own unique intralogistics challenges, and we deliver tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements.
What are your most recent product innovations?
Our partnership with SafeLog on mobile robots is off to a strong start, with several units already deployed in major projects. Sharing similar cultural values, TGW and SafeLog are jointly developing a wide range of applications—from compact tote-based AMRs to large pallet-carrying robots—bringing new levels of flexibility and efficiency to intralogistics.
At the same time, our TGW SmartPocket, a groundbreaking pocket sorter, is progressing through beta development with selected partners. We have hosted several Innovation Days to demonstrate this technology to our clients, receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback. Even more exciting, these discussions often spark fresh ideas for new applications, enabling us to evolve the SmartPocket beyond its original concept.
We have also launched a new generation of shuttles, delivering a 10% increase in overall system performance. Combining exceptional throughput with reliability, robust design, and outstanding energy efficiency, these shuttles even further reduce the need for manual intervention by up to 90%. Sustainability is central to their design: by replacing plastic components with environmentally friendly materials we can save yearly up to 25 tonnes of plastic per year.
Can you tell us about any recent customer contract wins or projects and how you helped the customer meet their challenges?
The retailer Marks & Spencer (M&S) and TGW Logistics recently signed a contract for an unparalleled project. In Daventry (Northamptonshire, UK), a new future-proof grocery fulfilment centre with two temperature zones is set for completion by the spring of 2029. Robots will handle key tasks, from transport and storage to retrieval and roll cage assembly, ensuring maximum efficiency throughout.
Recent highlights include large-scale automation projects for leading European grocery and industrial & consumer goods retailers, a major grocery fulfilment centre in the UK and Scandinavia, as well as two medical healthcare projects in the Benelux region and Scandinavia.
What is your strategy for growth and success in 2026?
TGW’s growth strategy focuses on strengthening partnerships and expanding our automation and warehouse solutions to meet evolving customer needs. By combining modular, scalable systems with advanced robotics and intelligent software, we help businesses enhance efficiency and flexibility. Our dedicated Lifetime Services team provides continuous support and optimisation, enabling clients to achieve sustainable performance and long-term success in an increasingly demanding supply chain environment.
Can you tell us about any areas, such as in AI, where you’re currently making technical advances?
TGW is harnessing the power of AI to optimise material flow, improve picking accuracy, and enable predictive maintenance, thus creating flexible, efficient warehouse solutions that deliver real value.
Can you foresee autonomous mobile robots and goods-to-person systems becoming more mainstream to improve efficiency and reduce manual labour?
Autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and goods-to-person systems are already becoming mainstream, helping warehouses boost efficiency, reduce manual labour, and create safer, more adaptable working environments.
Will advanced connectivity become more crucial for data sharing and communication between warehousing tasks and systems?
