JS Davidson, one of the UK’s leading temperature-controlled logistics providers, has been recognised with two major accolades at the prestigious TCS&D (Temperature Controlled Storage & Distribution) Awards 2025.

Held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel at the NEC and hosted by renowned comedienne Lucy Porter, the awards evening welcomed over 500 guests from across the cold chain industry to celebrate excellence and innovation in temperature-controlled logistics.

Peterborough based JS Davidson was awarded “Team of the Year” for an unprecedented third year running together with a “Customer Service” award—cementing its reputation as a trusted and forward-thinking operator in the sector.

The TCS&D Awards, now in their 12th year, highlight businesses that consistently demonstrate high standards in service, reliability, and operational excellence. JS Davidson’s double win is a testament to its continued investment in people, infrastructure, and customer-focused solutions.

The Team of the Year award recognised JS Davidson’s commitment to creating a strong, cohesive workforce capable of delivering under pressure, adapting to change, and consistently exceeding industry standards. The Customer Service award further underlined the company’s dedication to a “customer-first” approach, with a reputation for responsiveness, reliability, and tailored service solutions that meet the specific needs of clients across chilled, frozen, and ambient supply chains.

JS Davidson, previously known as Chiltern Cold Storage Group, has undergone significant transformation since its rebrand in 2022. With multi-temperature sites across Peterborough, Bourne, and its recently acquired Spalding facility, the company has expanded its footprint while maintaining the personal, hands-on service that has become its hallmark. The acquisition added 6,500 pallet spaces to its cold storage capacity and formed part of a wider strategic growth plan.

In addition to expanding its operational capabilities, JS Davidson has also invested nearly £1 million into infrastructure upgrades, including state-of-the-art cooling systems, new electrical installations, and enhancements to its warehouse management systems.

These investments have not only boosted efficiency and sustainability but also contributed to the business achieving and maintaining BRCGS AA and AA+ ratings across its sites—demonstrating the highest level of compliance in food safety and storage standards.

John Davidson, Managing Director of JS Davidson, said: “We are immensely proud to be recognised with two top honours—Team of the Year and Customer Service—at the TCS&D Awards.”
