Josephine Coombe, Chief Commercial Officer – Europe at Nulogy speaks to Warehouse & Logistics News.

What are your best-known products/solutions/services?

Nulogy provides the industry-leading software solution for contract packing operations, production monitoring software for improving manufacturing line production efficiency, and supplier collaboration software to help brands collaborate more effectively with their contract manufacturing and co-packing partners.

Which industry sectors are your customers in and which ones are growing fastest?

Nulogy has a strong presence in the FMCG supply chain, logistics, and increasing numbers of customers in discrete manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and other industries.

What are your most recent products and innovations?

Nulogy recently acquired Mingo Smart Factory, which enhances our ability to offer a comprehensive production monitoring solution. This enables manufacturers to minimise machine downtime and significantly improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) across production environments.

What are the major trends and developments affecting your category and your customers, and how are you responding?

Many warehousing companies who offer contract packing are struggling with soaring labour costs. Co-pack is a particularly labour-intensive area of Value-Added Services, and with rises in National insurance and minimum wage rates, these costs can become major barriers to profitable operations. Nulogy’s contract packing software provides warehousing companies with improved visibility and control over labour allocation, enabling companies to avoid hiring unnecessary temp staff, overtime, and other excess costs.

Can you tell us about any recent customer contracts and how you helped the customer meet their challenges?

In the UK, Nulogy recently partnered with Prism eLogistics, a key player in the beverage co-packing sector. By implementing the Nulogy platform, Prism has significantly improved production visibility, traceability, and labour cost management. In mainland Europe, Nagel-Group selected Nulogy as their standard co-packing platform and is currently rolling out the solution across 50 sites throughout Europe.

How does business in 2025 compare to previous years? What’s your strategy for succeeding in the current climate?

Our focus remains on enabling leading brands – including L’Oréal, Mars, Colgate, and others to help them more effectively collaborate with their external supply chain partners to accelerate the execution of contract packing operations. We continue to work with the leading 3PLs including GXO, Ceva, DHL, Kinaxia, and many others to help them improve the profitability of their Value-Added Services operations. Furthermore, we’re expanding into more manufacturing environments with automated lines, where Smart Factory capabilities play a key role in ensuring high throughput and operational efficiency.

What’s the latest news from your company?

We recently launched a new labour-focused PR campaign, highlighting how our software helps companies manage rising labour costs in warehousing and co-packing environments. This initiative has sparked strong interest across the logistics industry as companies seek smarter, more sustainable ways to manage labour-intensive operations.

Are you taking part in any major trade shows? Can you tell us what you’ll be exhibiting there?

Yes, we will be exhibiting at the upcoming PPMA Show. At the event, we will showcase our Smart Factory solution, which delivers real-time production monitoring and insights to help manufacturers reduce downtime, boost OEE, and improve decision-making on the production floor. The event presents a valuable opportunity to engage with supply chain leaders who are seeking to digitally enhance their operations, improve throughput, and drive greater efficiency and profitability across their production environments.
