The European pallet pooling specialist, LPR-La Palette Rouge, announces the appointment of Sean Cushion as its Regional Manager UK & Ireland, on 1st July 2025.
The role will see Sean Cushion lead the senior management team responsible for the ongoing development and growth of the UK and Ireland division of the business.
With almost 3 decades of logistics and supply chain management experience, Sean’s career spans senior leadership roles across logistics, supply chain, and service management in sectors ranging from retail and wholesale distribution to medical devices and automated warehousing.
At Vanderlande, he sat on the UK Board reporting to the Managing Director, overseeing service operations across the UK and Ireland and leading a team of more than 130 employees. His tenure saw record-breaking growth in retrofit modification sales, consistent contract renewals with blue-chip clients such as ASDA, Tesco, DPD and Next, and the successful rollout of high-performance cultural initiatives that boosted both customer loyalty and employee engagement.
With board-level experience since 2014 and a proven track record in business transformation, change management and multi-site operations, Sean brings both the strategic vision and operational acumen required to deliver sustainable growth for LPR’s Northern Region.
Sean said “One of the things that attracted me to working with LPR-La Palette Rouge was its strong focus on sustainability. Whether that’s working with its customers on collaborative sustainability projects, or its accelerating progression into transport optimisation, I look forward to utilising my own experience and expertise to develop further strategies, as well of course, as working with the team to increase LPR’s foothold and coverage across the North Region.”
“Given Sean’s experience and knowledge within the supply chain arena, I feel confident that he is best placed to drive the UK & Ireland business forward. He has a strong track record of leading high-performing teams, driving strategic initiatives, and delivering customer-focused solutions.
“His strategic mindset and operational expertise will be instrumental as we continue to grow, innovate, and deliver even greater value to our partners. I very much look forward to seeing where he leads this strategically important region next,” commented Jean-Luc Guenard, Managing Director of LPR-La Palette Rouge.
