Visitors to Cold Chain Hub 2025 at the NEC on 9 & 10 September can discover the latest innovations from over 50 exhibitors and network with industry colleagues.

Cold Chain Hub returns to the NEC in Birmingham on 9 & 10 September

As the UK’s only dedicated exhibition for temperature-controlled logistics, Cold Chain Hub brings together professionals involved in the transportation, storage and distribution of perishable goods. Organised by the team behind TCS&D and Frozen & Chilled Foods magazines, the event encompasses not only the exhibition but a free-to-attend conference and the TCS&D Awards. “Cold Chain Hub provides a unique opportunity for professionals to gain insights and make connections in this fast-evolving sector,” says Martyn Cogan, Event Director.

A showcase for innovation

Supported by the Road Haulage Association, Cold Chain Hub will once again host some of the industry’s biggest brands, showcasing products and services from right across the cold supply chain, with a strong focus on sustainability.

Visitors to Hall 3A at Birmingham’s NEC will discover innovation across two key areas of the exhibition – the Truck Zone and the Food Logistics Zone. Exhibitors will promote solutions designed to increase efficiency and reduce costs in the movement and storage of frozen & chilled foods and pharmaceuticals. These include temperature-controlled vehicles, including electric ranges, vehicle conversions and rental/contract hire options; transport refrigeration systems; renewable energy solutions; cold stores, including portable solutions; materials handling equipment; protective clothing; and temperature-monitoring technology. “With over 50 specialists showcasing best-in-class solutions,” continues Martyn Cogan, “visitors are bound to find ideas they can apply to their own supply chain challenges. The show features many of the industry’s major players, alongside first-time exhibitors. The latest companies to sign up include Thermo King, Flexis, CVME Truck Rental and Emissis.”

Co-located with IMHX

This year’s Cold Chain Hub is – for the first time – co-located with IMHX, the UK’s largest logistics event, giving visitors even more reason to attend. “When it comes to investing your time wisely, visiting the NEC on 9 or 10 September is a no-brainer,” says Martyn Cogan. “Having previously worked with the IMHX team, I know that this co-location provides an exciting and valuable opportunity for visitors to both events.” Free conference programme

Cold Chain Hub 2025 will also feature a free-to-attend conference across both days, featuring two streams: Refrigerated Transport and Cold Storage. Attendees will learn about current trends and how the sector is evolving to meet changing demands through insightful presentations from some of the industry’s leading experts. Companies sharing their expertise and case studies on Tuesday 9 September include Ocado, JJX Logistics, Ennovus Solutions, JS Davidson, Pulleyn Transport, Perfect Sense Energy and 2Excel Logistics, while the RHA will host a special seminar programme from 10.30 to 12.30 on Wednesday 10 September.

Plus TCS&D Awards

Held alongside Cold Chain Hub, the annual TCS&D Awards – now in their 12th year and with Sunswap as headline sponsor – will take place in the evening of 9 September at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, located on the NEC complex. “Celebrating innovation and excellence in the cold supply chain, this black-tie event always provides a great platform for networking,” says Martyn Cogan.
