Engineered to handle long, awkward loads in tight spaces with ease, Combilift’s material handling solutions improve operational efficiency, optimise storage capacity, and enhance safety—helping businesses streamline operations and make the most of their warehouse and yard space.
Combilift designs and manufactures innovative material handling solutions, built to improve safety, maximise storage, and increase operational efficiency. Our product range includes multidirectional forklifts, Aisle Master articulated forklifts for very narrow aisles, pedestrian stackers, sideloaders, straddle carriers, and container loaders.
However, we have always seen Combilift as much more than a designer and manufacturer of forklifts and other handling solutions. Space is one of the most valuable assets our customers possess, and if our trucks can make it work better for them in terms of storage density, then everyone benefits. The ongoing demand for warehouse space, coupled with ever-rising business costs, means that space optimisation is now more important than ever. Additional benefits of course, also include avoiding the operational headache for management and the workforce of relocating to new premises, the lack of bureaucracy associated with new builds or extensions, and the expense of leasing extra off-site storage.
We have an in-house team of design engineers and offer a free warehouse layout consultancy to help businesses make the most of their space and streamline their operations.
What are you looking to achieve at IMHX this year?
One of our main objectives at IMHX is to showcase how our solution-based material handling equipment can enhance the safety of your operations while also increasing efficiency and the current storage capacity of your existing facilities. It is also a great opportunity to meet potential new customers and showcase our wide range of products. Visitors can see our machines in action, participate in demos, and speak to our product specialists to find the best material handling solution for their operation.
We also take this opportunity to meet with our existing customers to further strengthen our relationship and to listen to their feedback. We are customer-driven, we are always very keen to learn from what our customers have to say and to hear how their operations have improved since they started using Combilift. By listening attentively to their feedback and analysing their needs, we continue to grow and evolve. It is through close collaboration with our customers that we have been able to develop some of our latest innovations, such as the Combi-LC Blade or the Combi-SPI.
Will you be launching any new products or services at the show?
Innovation is in our DNA. At Combilift, we invest 6% of our annual revenue into research and development, continually pushing boundaries to deliver smarter, safer, and more efficient material handling solutions. This year alone, we have already launched three groundbreaking additions to our portfolio: the Combi-SPI, the Combi-FSE8000, and the Combi Load Xtender—each designed to address specific industry challenges with advanced engineering and user-centric design.
And we’re not stopping, our R&D teams are still hard at work; thinking ahead, continuing to innovate, and preparing to unveil even more solutions in the near future.

What sets your company apart as a supplier in your sector?
What sets Combilift apart from a standard forklift company is our focus not just on the product, but on the value it delivers to the customer. We design and manufacture material handling solutions tailored to enhance safety, maximise storage, and improve overall operational efficiency—helping our clients achieve more with less space.
We are a solutions-based forklift manufacturer, which is why we like to visit each customer’s site to get a hands-on perspective of what the customer really needs. From there, we can offer forklift options from our extensive range of product-based solutions, as well as a free warehouse design to help optimise production, storage and safety throughout the entire site.
What business sectors are your customers in?
Our customers come from a wide range of sectors, including warehousing and logistics, timber, steel, manufacturing, retail, concrete, and renewable energy, to name a few.
Many of our customers operate in space-constrained environments or face challenges with safety and operational inefficiencies. In some cases, they simply can’t find a suitable material handling solution in the market. Our equipment is designed to navigate narrow aisles, reduce product damage, enhance safety, and maximise every inch of storage space—which is increasingly important nowadays with the rising cost of warehouse and yard space.
What innovative changes or strategies has your business adopted since the last IMHX in 2022?
Since IMHX 2022, we’ve expanded our portfolio with a strong focus on our electric product range, deepening our commitment to making material handling operations more sustainable. We’ve launched several innovative products, including the Combi-Cube, Combi-CB70E, Combi-LC Blade, Combi-Connect, Combi-AGT, Combi-CLL, Combi-SPI, Combi-FSE8000, and the Combi Load Xtender. Each of these products is designed to meet specific customer needs, with enhancements in energy efficiency, safety, and performance.
At the same time, we’ve strengthened our warehouse design consultancy, helping customers optimise space and workflow before investing in expanding their current premises or relocating, with our “improving, not moving” approach.
These efforts have been recognised with multiple prestigious industry awards, such as the ‘Ergonomics of the Year’ Archies Award or the recent ‘Design of the Year’ Red Dot Award that the Combi-CB70E has received, and the title of ‘Irish Exporter of the Year.’ These accolades reaffirm Combilift’s position as a global leader in material handling innovation.
What is your vision for the company over the next few years?
Our vision is to remain at the forefront of the material handling industry through continuous innovation, sustainability, and global growth. We are committed to helping businesses worldwide enhance their material handling operations, making them safer and more efficient while maximising storage space.
Innovation has been key to our success. Our team continues to design new, exciting products, which keeps us ahead of the market. That’s what really drives me—knowing that Combilift’s innovation keeps us moving forward.
What is your company doing to actively work towards a more sustainable business model?
Sustainability is at our core – we’re highly focused on making our vehicles more environmentally friendly and helping our customers maximise their warehouse efficiency.
98% of our annual revenue investment in our R&D department is dedicated to the development of electric vehicle technology, including how to measure the efficiency of those vehicles. Additionally, approximately 70% of the machines we currently produce are electric.
We are also committed to providing free warehouse layout, which enables our customers to make their business more efficient and sustainable. The ability to reduce the physical footprint of a site and optimise existing storage eliminates the need for unnecessary greenfield expansion.
Our forklifts can fulfil multiple roles with the one-truck-does-all approach and additionally are reliable, built-to-last and can be used inside and out. This, in turn, allows companies to reduce their fleet size and, consequently, their carbon footprint.
And finally, what key message are you hoping to share with attendees who visit your stand?
Combilift can help you maximise space, enhance safety, and boost the productivity of your material handling operations. Our solutions are built around your business, not the other way around. Whether you’re struggling with challenging, long and awkward loads, have limited warehouse space, or need to optimise operational efficiency, Combilift is here to help you handle your loads smarter and work safer.
