Improve health and safety, reduce accidental damage and save money with RediRack.

Danielle Coddington, Operations Director at RediRack speaks to Warehouse & Logistics News.

What is RediRack known for?

Pallet Racking! We offer a range of products from conventional pallet racking to drive-in and push-back racking, providing a concept-to-completion service. We are full manufacturing members of SEMA, the trade association for our industry. We have five in-house SARI’s qualified to inspect Cantilever and Pallet Racking. We also employ installers directly, meaning no sub-contractors, with teams SEIRS trained.

Which industries are your customers in?

Our most popular industry continues to be the food and beverage industry. However, we are also the preferred supplier in other sectors such as logistics, distribution and builders’ merchants.

Our adjustable pallet racking is ideal for the storage of an array of palletised goods, including luxury yachts!

What is your most recent exciting innovation?

We are always excited to design new solutions, manufacturing and supplying directly from our Staffordshire-based facility. One of our recent innovations is a bespoke system for storing Whisky casks. We experienced increased demand and noticed a rise in the investment in whisky, so we worked with businesses to create something to meet their requirements.

We will also be launching new RediRack Cantilever Racking later this year!

What major trends and developments are affecting your customers?

Due to the challenges in today’s market, many of our customers are staying in their existing premises longer, increasing stock levels on site. We’ve seen an increase in customers requesting a redesign of their warehouse to increase capacity, which could include the introduction of a high-density storage solution such as drive-in or push-back racking, or the reduction of aisle widths to cater for a different truck type.

Can you tell us any recent customer stories & how you helped meet their challenges?

We are very customer service-driven, which is evident in the number of returning customers. We have recently been awarded the contract for a customer’s fourth warehouse relocation. RediRack has successfully managed each relocation, which involved the installation of new adjustable pallet racking and push-back racking for their new premises, along with the relocation of existing racking.

How does business in 2025 compare to previous years?

Like all businesses, our customers are struggling with the rising costs of running a business and the shortage of skilled labour. We continuously reinvest in our business to improve efficiencies in our factory and the skills of our workforce. We listen carefully to the needs of our customers and react quickly to changing demands and trends.

What’s the latest news from your company?

To keep up with demands, we have expanded our design, inspection and installation teams. We have high staff retention and therefore a very experienced team, some of whom have worked for the business for 40+ years. To ensure that experience is shared with younger generations, we have a structured training and mentoring programme in place.

Are there any areas where you’re making technical advances?

We are relocating our testing equipment to a new state-of-the-art facility in Burntwood. In-house testing enables us to evaluate our product, carrying out research that benefits the industry. We recently investigated the impact of SEMA’s green, amber and red risk damage on the load-bearing capacity of pallet racking. We have also tested and analysed the impact of pallet racking frames that have undergone repairs on the overall load-bearing capacity of the system.

Are you investing in staff training & development?

Investing in our team is a priority as it leads to enhanced skills and productivity, alongside employee satisfaction and retention. We consistently encourage ongoing personal development and have funded three employees in obtaining their BEng Mechanical Engineering, whilst our Accounts Assistant is completing a Level 3 Accountancy qualification.
