The UK Warehousing Association’s new look website has drawn widespread approval from members, who appreciate the improved accessibility and increased user-friendly interactivity. Designed to highlight the wide range of member services on offer from the UK’s leading trade body for the sector, the new site is driven by the latest technology, it is highly responsive and is built around the UKWA’s four pillar mission – talking about warehousing, driving up standards, building community and supporting members.

Accordingly, the website provides a hub of expert insights and information about the sector and showcases key service areas such as training and the UKWA Warehouse Manager CPC, networking events, policy engagement and now includes a dedicated portal for members.

In line with members’ wishes, the policy section has been extended to encompass monthly policy briefings that shine a light on important policy developments and their impact on the warehousing sector, as well as a focus on activities by the UKWA policy team around issues faced by members, from business rates to planning challenges and skills shortages.

Commenting on the new website, UKWA CEO Clare Bottle said: “Our website is not only our ‘shop window’ to the world, but is also an important tool for communicating with and supporting our members. This year we are building on our ‘2024 Year of Warehousing’ awareness campaign, growing our membership and enhancing our offering to members. The new website will play a vital role in achieving these objectives.

We have invested substantially in the new site and have been delighted with the very positive feedback from members and the wider warehousing and logistics community.”
