Wessex Packaging has been awarded an AA+ rating in a recent unannounced BRCGS Audit.
This AA+ grade in the Storage and Distribution Standard is the highest level that can be awarded and recognises that Wessex Packaging is continuing to operate in the top tier of companies within the supply chain. Wessex is one of the UK’s leading independent packaging companies and a trusted packaging partner to some of the UK’s largest brands, manufacturers, and supply chain companies. Wessex is also the official GB distributor for the innovative ErgoPack strapping machine range. The unannounced BRCGS Audit was conducted at Wessex’s 70,000 sq ft distribution centre and HQ in Yeovil, Somerset.

The BRCGS (Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standards) is a globally renowned organisation that sets measurable benchmarks to build confidence in the supply chain. These standards are used by over 30,000 certified suppliers in over 130 countries, with the Storage and Distribution Standard specifically designed for logistics operations dealing with food, packaging, and consumer products.
The certification demonstrates Wessex’s commitment to working to the highest standards and provides their customers with the reassurance that the products they supply are part of a carefully moderated end-to-end process.
This latest BRCGS Award complements Wessex’s ISO14001, ISO9001 and EcoVadis accreditations.
