The Cold Chain Federation has announced the industry-leading speakers who will take to the main stage at the temperature-controlled logistics industry’s definitive conference Cold Chain Live! 2024, at Telford International Centre on 4th-5th September 2024.

The conference, which will be chaired by TV news presenter Maryam Moshiri, will feature two days of discussion, insight and debate about the temperature-controlled logistics industry’s foremost opportunities and challenges, including:

  • The state of the cold chain industry in 2024,

Cold Chain Live! 2024 is delivered by the Cold Chain Federation in association with Platinum Partners Thermo King, Blue Cube, Styne Refrigeration and Olympus Power and supported by Gold partners Carrier Transicold, Marsh Commercial, Star Refrigeration, The P&M Group, Wagner and Sunswap.

Cold Chain Federation Chief Executive Phil Pluck said: “The UK cold chain is at a fork in the road in 2024. Our industry has fantastic potential for sustainable growth but we also face major challenges today and in the decade ahead. How well we are able to grasp the opportunities and navigate those challenges depends in part on the next Government’s approach and policy choices, but also very substantially on our industry’s response to those policy choices, to our preparations for future resilience, and to investment into cold chain innovation, sustainability and people. Cold Chain Live 2024 brings temperature-controlled logistics professionals together to discuss these issues, to hear the latest data and analysis, and to cement the relationships which are becoming ever more crucial in our connected and collaborative food and pharma supply chains. The programme for 2024 is excellent and I am delighted that we will be joined by a roster of speakers of such distinction.”

This year, Cold Chain Live! is introducing the Innovation Zone, a platform to showcase new cold chain products and services. The conference will also feature extended networking sessions, vehicle and trailer displays, product demonstrations, and a three-course Gala Dinner, all designed to facilitate meaningful connections and collaborations within the industry.
